Bio

Dimitra Kapsala is a screenwriter. Her latest work was in the series The Beach (2023-2025), produced by FOSS Productions and ERT. She works at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival in the AGORA industry department as Series and special programs Co-ordinator. She studied at the School of Film of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has an MA in screenwriting.

The short film The Chaos She Left Behind (2023, dir. Nikos Kolioukos) in which she was the script editor received the second place award at La Cinef at Festival de Cannes in 2024.

The short film Driving Me Crazy (2024, dir. Meni Tsilianidou) which she co-wrote won the Hellenic Film Academy Iris award for best student film in 2025 as well as three awards at the student competition of Drama ISFF in 2024.
